Gill met John through mutual friends who set them up on a blind date in November 1987, within 2 weeks of their first date, John had moved in and the stage was set. On Saturday 1st October 1998, Gill and John married in front of all their families and friends at The Bury Register Office in Hemel Hempstead, followed by a blessing ceremony at the Marlowes Methodist Church. It was a beautiful day and I've never seen my mum look as gorgeous as she did that day.It's a memory that will stay with me forever.
